This is an HDV video deck made by Sony. It's a compact size and allows for progressive playback of HDV and DV. It has a monitor on the front panel for simple video viewing, and a small speaker for audio confirmation. It also has an HDMI output, allowing for viewing on the latest television systems. I was unable to fully test the device due to a lack of testing environment, but I have confirmed that it powers on and that tapes can be inserted, played, recorded, and fast-forwarded.
