There are marks on the cover from using the book as a writing surface for taking notes, and some small scratches that appear to have occurred during transport. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about the condition. Otherwise, there are no writings or markings, and the condition is relatively good, I think. It's easy to read, and I think it's a fairly enjoyable book, as you can understand some of the common experiences of doctors (in my personal opinion).
