Compared to the standard version, one side of the flap around the shoulders is sewn shut, and Velcro is added to the other side, allowing you to wrap yourself up like a cocoon and reduce drafts. Recommended for those who feel drafts around their shoulders! The fabric has a good stiffness, so you won't feel suffocated even when you're inside. The Velcro used is a type that is less likely to cause irritation. We've shaved off unnecessary shapes and parts to achieve ultimate lightness! The fabric is thick and tear-resistant, and the gusseted bottom means your feet won't feel cramped. The flap at the entrance is reinforced, so it won't tear even if handled a bit roughly. When used over a sleeping bag, it can add 5°C to the applicable temperature, and can be used alone for sleeping in the summer. (On a traverse of the Northern Alps and Southern Alps in August, I was able to sleep with just a stock shelter + mat + this cover.) I used it for 6 nights as a trial. I tend to sweat a lot at night, but there was no condensation inside the sleeping bag cover. There was no difference in performance whether it was sunny/rainy/dense fog, or with/without a sleeping bag. My family also used it without any condensation. I also used it twice for summer car camping outside of hiking, sleeping with just the cover, and it was comfortable with no condensation.
