Highly popular for being ultra-lightweight and compact!! This is a sleeping bag cover made with silver Tyvek for construction, with a reduced draft version around the shoulders, and a stuff sack. Compared to the standard version, one side of the shoulder flap is sewn up, and Velcro is added to the other side, creating a cocoon-like state to reduce drafts. Recommended for those who feel a chill around their shoulders! The fabric is stiff, so you won't feel suffocated even if you get inside. The Velcro is the type that is not prickly. Excess shapes and parts have been removed to achieve ultimate weight reduction! The fabric is thick, so it's hard to tear, and the bottom gusset provides ample space around the feet. The entrance flap is reinforced, so it won't tear even if handled roughly. Using it over a sleeping bag can increase the applicable temperature by 5°C, and you can sleep with just this cover in the summer. (In August, I was able to stay overnight in the Northern and Southern Alps with a stock shelter + mat + this cover.) I used it for 6 nights as a trial. I sweat a lot, but there was no condensation inside the sleeping bag cover. There was no difference in sunny/rainy/foggy conditions, or with/without a sleeping bag. No condensation occurred even when my family used it. I used it twice for summer car camping outside of mountain climbing, and slept with just the cover, which was comfortable without condensation.
