The CHOISY LE ROI kiln was established in Choisy-le-Roi, an industrial town near Paris, in 1804. In 1920, it merged with Creil-Montereau. It produced many excellent ceramics until the factory closed due to a strike in 1938. It is a valuable kiln that is also popular in France. There are stains due to aging. It is in good condition, with no cracks or chips. All items handled are old, used items, so there may be age-related deterioration. There may be kiln marks, paint unevenness, small chips, crazing, scratches, and cutlery marks that occurred during the manufacturing process.
