This is a set of two 3-meter nylon 3-strand ropes. I received these from a friend who is a Self-Defense Force officer. I was told they were used as a simple harness during exercises or training, such as when descending. It's unknown whether they are official issue. I've heard that you can make one by watching videos online that show how to make a simple harness. If you know how to use them effectively, please do so. There are some scratches and dirt from use. I'm not knowledgeable, but I did some light research. It seems that nylon 3-strand ropes are used for rescue and descending, and they appear to be very strong.
