I live with Japanese honeybees. This product is made by dissolving the squeezed remnants of the honeycomb after honey extraction in hot water, cooling and solidifying only the beeswax that floats to the top, then repeatedly melting the beeswax again and filtering out impurities several times. Finally, it is melted in a water bath and poured into a mold. The color of the beeswax changes depending on the season of honey extraction, such as the nectar and pollen of the flowers. Because it is made by hand by amateurs, some squeezed residue may be included. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for zero impurities or perfection.
