This is a piece from 1973 by Kahori Katano (1932-2016), the daughter of Motohiko Katano, a leading figure in Japanese natural indigo dyeing and a dyer who participated in the Japanese Folk Crafts Movement with Soetsu Yanagi. "Katano Shibori" fabric, with individual exhibition management numbers. A work by a popular artist, a rare collection. Among the works, it comes with Japanese paper wrapping and Katano's handwritten name.
