Overall, a glossy metallic color and matte finish on the armor create a sense of weight, eliminating the cheap look of plastic toys. The undersides of the armor are also painted dark to make the silhouette of the machine clear, giving it a three-dimensional and imposing presence. The product condition is "Like New" as the Sword Calamity was completed in December 2024 and the Astray Blue Frame Second Revise in March 2025. Although it's hard to say definitively due to the matte finish, decals, and weathering (dirt and damage effects) applied. The effects from the beam sword and other vents of the Sword Calamity are gradient painted with candy light green to make them appear to be emitting light. The frame of the Astray Blue Frame Second Revise is painted with a blue velvet color, which gives a polarized appearance depending on how the light hits it. The pilot, Gai Murakumo, figure is also painted.
