There are small scratches and string marks on the fretboard typical of fretless basses, but it's in decent condition for its age. To my untrained eye, the neck is straight and the string height is standard. I personally find it easy to play. I bought it with the truss rod having some room left, and I haven't adjusted it since. There is no case.
