The exterior is in good condition, but the interior has some wear (the lacquer has come off and is whitish), and there is some minor rust, but it is not at a level where rust would float in the water. There are scratches and color fading on the edge of the lid, but there are no deep scratches. The artist's signature is on the side. A sukita-ita (a type of trivet) is included, but it has some scorching. The matching box has some stains. Please understand that this is a used item.
