Super rare! Ambassador 2600 Semi-Direct Reel First Model ★ Offered for a limited time from my personal collection Perfect for topwater plugging! This is the first model of the 2600, released in 1961. It's a rare model with the model number engraved in a slanted script instead of a sticker, and it's a rare early model that's hard to find in Japan. ★ First, please enlarge all the photos and check them (20 photos in total) ● It is a semi-direct reel similar to the 1750 (The spool becomes free when you press the handle shaft push button. It becomes direct after hooking.) ● Full overhaul performed upon listing. After cleaning, degreasing, and polishing the oscillating parts, it has been carefully assembled with genuine ABU oil and grease. (The grease is applied thinly except for the gear contact areas) Unused after the overhaul, the mechanism and rotation are very good. It's a shame I can't convey it in a video! ● There is no wear or chipping on the gears, and the mechanism is extremely good. ● There is no deterioration of the plastic parts. ● The side plates have small scratches, but are in relatively good condition. (Small scratches have been touched up.) ● The clicker also works normally without any cracks in the eyelets. (Unlike the 1750, it is made of metal and will not crack.) ● The brake block is also firmly attached. ● Weight: 189g, lightweight and perfect for single-grip old rods. ● In the 2000/1750 series, the resin parts Brake Washer (#8512) and Thrust washer (#2231) in the left plate are often missing, but both are firmly attached (Photo 16: Hard-to-find parts). ★ This model is hard to find in Japan.
