Thank you for viewing. This is a set of two Hidehira-nuri lacquerware bowls, a traditional craft of Iwate Prefecture. I've attached a picture of similar-style bowls from a website for reference. The bottoms of the bowls are thick and rounded, fitting comfortably in your hand. They are a slightly smaller size. How about using them for the New Year's holiday? ^_^
