This is a cornet made by C.G. Conn, a major American musical instrument manufacturer. The "New Wonder" series was introduced in the 1920s, and saxophones and cornets, in particular, became widely used by both professional and amateur musicians. During this period, Conn was known as the world's largest wind instrument manufacturer, and it contributed significantly to the development of jazz and classical music while continuing to innovate in design and manufacturing technology. This is a cornet that was also used by the legendary cornet virtuoso Bix Beiderbecke, and it is an instrument with a new system that was very popular at the time. It has a quick-change system that is very easy to use in orchestras, and as shown in the photo, it can also be used as an A cornet by extending the tuning slide. Fine tuning is also possible with the opera glass micro-tuner mechanism. It has a luxurious build, including beautiful engraving and a gold-plated bell interior. Air tightness is excellent.
