Greco 1979 Precision Bass, made by Fujigen. This bass is a hard relic, showing its history with a fingerboard that has seen some action. The original pickups had low output and a poor sound, so they have been replaced with Fender Custom Shop '62 model pickups. The original pickups are not included. Despite being over 45 years old, the neck is straight and sturdy, which is the most important thing when buying a vintage instrument. It hasn't developed any high spots even with the strings always on. There's probably no need to worry about warping in the future, haha. The truss rod has plenty of room. The frets show no excessive wear; they're about 70-80% remaining. The electronics are also in good working order. The frets have been polished, and the neck, string height, intonation, and pickups have been adjusted. The nut has room to spare, and the strings are Elixir 45-105, tuned to standard. It's ready to be taken straight to a gig. It truly delivers the sound of a vintage Precision Bass. It sounds better than the current, latest USA model from the original F company. It's amazing. As expected from a JV Japanese vintage instrument. It has a vintage sound, so it's not recommended for those who prefer a modern, hard sound. Those who like '70s Precision Basses will love it. When slightly overdriven, it has a great, punchy sound. The original, well-worn leather case from the time is included.
