This is a visiting kimono by 【Tamotsu Mizuno】, a traditional craftsman whose specialty is the Tsujigahana pattern. Mr. Tamotsu Mizuno studied under the dyeing artist Yukihou Osawa. He has won numerous awards for his original and captivating works, and is featured in many kimono magazines as a leading master in Tokyo. This work features the Tsujigahana pattern on a fantastical, glossy gold-threaded fabric. The artist's signature is placed on the tare (the part of the obi that hangs down), in a position that is visible when worn.
