The CD jacket has a lot of Japanese writing on it, so when I first picked up this CD, I thought it was a CD book produced by a publisher. However, the back of the jacket says "Not for Sale," so that wasn't the case. [Photos 4-6] Reading the included booklet, "In 1995, the Japan tour of Teatro alla Scala, Milan, featured 'La Traviata / Falstaff (conducted by Muti),' and the Italian Trade Promotion Agency, which sponsored the performances, produced this CD in cooperation with Sony Music." It seems that it was not sold in shops and was used for promotional novelties (?), which is why it was not for sale. The cast and performers are listed in [Photo 5]. This CD audio source is believed to be the same as the LD/CD advertised in the booklet [Photo 6]. As indicated by the "Live Recording" notation, applause is included at the end of each piece. Before listing, I have confirmed that the CD plays on my home equipment (stereo and PC). This CD is not new, so please take a good look at the photos on the listing page and understand that it is a used item before purchasing.
