When returning from Dobon to balanced bottom fishing, before switching to Dobon, attach a dragonfly (a type of line stopper) to the lower float stopper as well. This position will become the balanced level, and you won't need to adjust the depth if you return the float to this position. Also, when switching to Dobon, you can leave the balanced weight and float as they are, but you can make the bait sink slowly by increasing the float size without cutting the weight. Since you haven't cut the weight, you can easily return to balanced bottom fishing by returning the float size.
