I bought it new and used it regularly for about 5 years. I made holes for the license plate. One of the clips is slightly cracked (see photo 5). It can be used without any problems as it is held in place by the hood. Photo 6 shows the clip in its original condition. Once you get used to it, it takes about 5 minutes to remove or install. I removed it and washed it every time I washed the car, so I think it's relatively clean. The condition is not that bad, and the surface is relatively clean.
