I haven't done any customizations, but I have trimmed the bangs a bit. I may have missed something, but the Blythe doll itself seems relatively clean. The box has stains and discoloration. The clothes have stains. The part of the poncho where the string is attached is sticky. The stand has rust. To prevent the eyelashes from bending, I will ship the doll with the face unwrapped, securing the whole doll. Please purchase only if you understand and accept these conditions.
