Bridge engraving: "B&L 1/30 10K GO U.S.A." 10K Gold Overlay (GO) This was a high-end construction at the time, where 1/30 of the total frame weight was a 10K gold layer. The lenses are original G-15 glass with BL sandblasted markings on both sides. The double-sided BL marking is a rare specification seen in the 70s compared to single-sided markings. Cable temples Original shape for pilots at the time. Vintage Bausch & Lomb era USA-made items are increasingly being appreciated in the overseas market in recent years. [Condition] As it is a vintage item, there are minor scratches consistent with its age, but no fatal damage that would interfere with wearing. The combination of 1/30 10K GO + double-sided BL + cable temples is a specification from that era that cannot be reproduced today, and I believe it is a highly regarded item for collectors.
