Full rebuild implements modern features in a 1965 Student Model. The Nikkan NO.2, often seen at auctions, is a trumpet that cannot be used in band ensembles (orchestras) due to its lack of functionality. It is particularly problematic for beginners and is not recommended for practice. The reason is that it does not have any function to correct the pitch during performance. Due to the structure of the trumpet, Low C♯ and D tend to be sharp, and it is necessary to pull out the slide to correct the pitch while playing. A trumpet without this pitch correction function is useless. Our workshop's NO.2 has been customized with a rebuild (reconstruction) to allow 1st and 3rd slide operation. By completely rebuilding it so that it can be used without hesitation in band ensembles (orchestras), we have implemented all modern specifications. It is a piston valve trumpet with an MS bore (narrow bore) that is not currently sold in commercial instruments. Compared to modern YAMAHA instruments, it has a unique playing feel, but you can enjoy the sound of the rare MS bore. It requires a certain amount of playing experience to make it sound. Also, the skill to handle vintage instruments is required. ★Customization Details ■ The tuning slide has been rebuilt to a reverse specification, upgrading the stuffy playing feel unique to narrow bores to a more open playing feel. ■ The brace has been relocated to the crook, improving controllability and sound cohesion with moderate resistance. ■ The press-made water key has been replaced with an Amado-type spit valve. ■ The 3rd slide has been rebuilt to reverse, enabling slide operation and pitch correction during performance. ■ The 1st slide has been rebuilt to reverse, enabling slide operation. Also, it makes it possible to produce "Pedal F". ■ The deteriorated lacquer coating has been stripped and processed with a scratch brush.
