This is a 13-string koto. There are almost no marks on the soundboard where the koto bridges have fallen. There is a small repair mark on the underside of the soundboard. It is made of genuine paulownia wood. The wood is seasoned, and it resonates well, producing a koto-like tone. Koto bridges and a bridge box (or cat-foot bridges) will be included. For those unfamiliar with the instrument, a practice book and a tuner for tuning will be included. While the edging and leaves may not be as elaborate, the sound and resonance are excellent.
