This is a Zuiko 42mm f/2.8 lens from an Olympus camera, modified for a SONY NEX-E mount. The mount is a metal mount. The aperture is adjusted using a lever-like bar around the rear element of the lens, ranging from f/2.8 to f/22. It is recommended to set the aperture in advance before shooting. For example, an intermediate aperture like f/8 would be good for snapshot photography. Focusing is set from 0.9m to infinity (♾️) as indicated on the lens barrel. However, it has been modified to focus down to approximately 0.7m. When viewed with a penlight, the lens is almost clean, but there is a very slight amount of dust. As it is a lens from a camera made about 50 years ago, some dust and debris are expected due to age and use. Photos taken with a SONY α7II, color STD, f/8, and no correction are included at the end. Close-up lenses were also attached for shooting. The photos were intentionally taken in backlight to show the characteristics of the lens's rendering. As a well-regarded Zuiko lens, it differs from the sharpness-focused, cool-toned lenses of today, and its characteristics include a rich rendering and soft edges in the lines. The camera settings were set to aperture priority auto and shutter release permission. A metal hood and a rear lens cap are included. The metal hood is 43mm in diameter, but it has been modified and glued to a 43.5mm diameter lens filter frame. Price negotiations are not accepted. No returns or refunds. Shipped via Yu-Yu Mercari.
