The book contains 285 pages, including 17 pages of color shunga and 160 pages of black and white shunga. It features forbidden shunga woodblock prints by ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Kitagawa Utamaro, Suzuki Harunobu, Hishikawa Moronobu, Keisai Eisen, Isoda Koryu, Torii, and Nishikawa Sukenobu.
