Plate reverb uses a metal plate about 2m x 1m, passing a signal through it and reading its vibrations to create reverb. It was widely used in 70s recordings and is famous for naturally creating the reverberation of large halls and spacious environments. Feeling a disconnect with many reverb algorithms labeled as "Plate Reverb" in effects, this pedal was created while maintaining a real EMT140. Controls include HIGH PASS/TIME/PRE DELAY/MIX/VOL, allowing you to cut the low end of the reverb sound for a tighter output, and set early reflections with Pre Delay. It also features MIX to adjust the balance between dry and wet signals, and VOL to control the overall volume.
