Wave Table Distortion Shaper Table expands on the concept of wave shaping, allowing you to use a table of data (like a wave table lying around) for remapping the shape. This allows you to scroll through the frames of the table to get a distortion effect that changes over time. Pretty neat. Kilohearts has a lot of cool tables specifically for this purpose, but you can also use our table editor to freely create your own tables. Let your imagination run wild and create unknown distortion sweeps! Shaper Table is a Snapin. This means you can use it as a regular plugin or within Kilohearts' Snapin Hosts. Features 3D Graph: Visualizes the available frames of the loaded table. You can change the frame by clicking and dragging. 2D Graph: Visualization of the currently selected frame and other settings applied, such as Phase. Phase: Sets the phase rotation of the selected frame. Bias: Bias adds a DC offset to the signal before distortion. Adding bias can prevent distorted audio from sounding hollow and uninteresting. Smooth: Applies a smoothing filter to the waveform, reducing the harshness of the distortion. Drive Knob: The Drive setting boosts the input signal, causing heavier distortion. DC Filter: Enables the DC filter: Enables a DC filter that corrects the DC offset caused by distortion. Mix: Dry/wet mix of this effect. Setting it to a low value will pass some of the unmodified signal. Overflow modes: Choose what happens beyond the edges of the waveform curve. Repeat the wave, hold the edge value, or repeat with mirroring. Table Selector: Select a table from the table browser. Click the popup button to open the table editor.
