Here are two folding fans, one from Takashimaya and one from Mitsukoshi. The height of the fan bones is approximately 36cm for both. The design on the Takashimaya fan is "Phoenix" by Mr. Junko Koizumi, and the design on the Mitsukoshi fan is "Morning Sun Fuji" by Mr. Chusaku Oyama. The Takashimaya fan comes with a "Kumihimo fan hanger," and the Mitsukoshi fan comes with a "bamboo fan stand." These fan stands alone are likely quite valuable nowadays. Both fans are mostly unused, but as you can see in the photos, there are some slight creases on the corners. I believe these are old and magnificent items, but they have been stored for many years, so there is some age-related deterioration. Please consider this when making your purchase.
