Ebony with pre-drilled holes to fit a KA-BAR Becker BK17 (two pieces can be made from one board). This is spare material from when I processed some for myself a few years ago. Ebony is known for being extremely hard and durable. Its deep black color and unique grain are very beautiful, and the more you polish it, the more luster it gains, giving it a luxurious feel.
