The length has been adjusted to be about 2cm shorter than the in-line model, resulting in a silhouette that fits contemporary styles. The details of the early Gurkha shorts are faithfully reproduced, such as the long waist front adjustment and the pleated marbert with button-down loop tabs. The snug fit around the waist is also attractive. The silhouette is a wide line that falls straight from the thigh to the hem. The material is poplin, a high-density weave of linen and cotton. While it has firmness and body, the refining process gives it a light and three-dimensional texture.
