Thank you for viewing. This is a Spode Blue Italian container. It looks like a cup, but it's probably a jam pot without a lid. Diameter: 7.8cm Height: 8.3cm The backstamp indicates this is an older piece. There are no cracks, chips, or noticeable scratches. It's in very good condition. Blue Italian is known as "Timeless blue and white," or "eternal blue & white." If you look closely, you may find that the edges of the pattern are soft or that there are ink splatters, but this is because it was printed using the copperplate transfer technique, which was used at the time of its release.
