My child usually used an umbrella when walking to and from school in the rain, but I bought this because it was needed for school events like field trips and outdoor training. → Because umbrellas are dangerous when everyone is walking together. However, I think it was only used once?? I remember a few times when I took it out to wear it, but ended up not using it... It's hardly been worn (crying). It fastens with buttons and has two pockets. By unbuttoning the button on the back, you can wear the raincoat over a backpack! I don't think there are any stains or scratches, but there are wrinkles from being folded.
