Tanabata Decoration - Hanging Type - Kiriko (Cut Paper) This item is over 30 years old. It's a lantern, so the light turns on when plugged in. Power tested. (Photo 5) It has a music box inside that plays "Tanabata-sama" (Star Festival Song). (Photo 7) shows a rotating cylinder, but the adhesive has come off due to aging. It should be fine if you reattach it with glue. The long strings are made of lilian (knitted cord), so they will flow beautifully if you put a fan on them. (Photo 6) shows the dedicated box for storage. There is also a blue one available. If you would like it, please let me know in the comments before purchasing. There are no noticeable scratches, but it is a used item and an antique, so there is some aging. Please purchase only if you understand this.
