Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing. 17,500 yen Inspired by the 80s, this is a carefully crafted, domestically produced denim, reimagined in a modern MIELI version. ＜Fabric Characteristics＞ For the warp threads, we used #8 yarn with a weak twist to reproduce the unevenness of the 80s. The rope dyeing of the warp threads uses a deep indigo color that is 100% indigo. Also, despite the deep color, the core of the yarn is large (the core white is large), and the fading over time will bring out a clear contrast in the vertical fading. For the weft threads, we used #6 yarn, which is a thick count, resulting in a denim fabric with a firm feel. ＜Processing＞ The processing was done at a long-established processing factory in Okayama City. Stone bio-bleaching was applied to create a unique unevenness on the fabric surface and color variations. The original pattern, created with skilled techniques, achieves a wide silhouette with meticulous attention to detail. The size is intentionally larger than usual, so we recommend wearing it with the waist position slightly lowered for a looser feel, which creates a more casual look. (If you want to wear it at the correct waist position, wearing a belt will keep it in place.) MIELI's signature pintucks and slanted pockets make the vertical lines of the entire garment look beautiful and long. The hem is cut-off, so you can freely self-cut it to match your preferred styling and shoes.
