If the plastic has yellowed, it could be cleaned up by removing the yellowing, which would make it look good as new. The Alex 2s have scratches from use. Also, there is only one hard case, and the metal parts are rusty. If you don't need it, I will dispose of it, so please let me know if you don't want it. The Alex 2s have a two-layer frame. The lenses are also mirror lenses, with one side gold and the other blue. I remember the lenses themselves being gold-brown and blue-light gray. The regular Alex has a light green tint.
