Unlike typical scalloping where the fingerboard is carved out, the sides of the neck are carved. Therefore, while it doesn't directly offer the same advantages for chording and vibrato as typical scalloping, it gives a very easy grip at each position. The neck feels thin, making it very easy to play. Also, the front pickup seems to have been changed from a single coil to a humbucker, and the routing isn't very clean. Overall, it's not in pristine condition, but I think it's an interesting guitar, so please consider it as a sub-guitar!
