Noritake Art Deco was made with product designs by serial designer Ray, an Englishman invited by the New York firm Morimura Brothers. Production was limited to just over 10 years, from 1920 to the Great Depression, and most pieces bear 32 backstamps. (M mark) This is an antique item made for export to the United States around 1921-1941, and it is in very good condition. There are no noticeable scratches, and the glaze and patterns are overall very glossy.
