I'm not very familiar with Japanese painting shikishi, so I don't know the specifics... I've never displayed it, and it's been stored in a tatogami (protective paper sleeve), so there are no stains, scratches, or folds on the shikishi itself. Due to aging, there is some soiling and fading on the outside of the tatogami, but to prevent folding during shipping, the artwork will be wrapped in the tatogami and waterproofed before being sent.
