Goken-jinja Shrine Goshuin (Temple Stamp) Goken-jinja Shrine is a shrine located in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto. It is decorated in gold, including a golden torii gate, and is associated with money and metal. People pray for success in asset management, stock trading, etc., as well as for victory in horse racing, keirin (cycle racing), and winning the lottery. A large number of ginkgo-leaf-shaped ema (votive plaques) are dedicated here. Originally, it was a place to dedicate metal molds related to construction, architectural design, shipbuilding, and other construction-related fields.
