Railroad Journal was a monthly Japanese railway hobby magazine edited and published by Railroad Journal Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, and sold by Seibido Publishing. It was first published in 1967 (Showa 42) and ceased publication with the June 2025 (Reiwa 7) issue, closing its 58-year history. While other railway magazines published up to that point focused on hobbies, mainly railway vehicles and model railways, "Journal" lived up to its name, aiming to be a "specialized information magazine that considers the future of railways," and was composed of articles that objectively viewed railways from social, economic, and political perspectives, including transportation policy itself. With the "Train Tracking Series" of train ride reports as its flagship, it reported in detail on the current state of railway usage. In addition, articles reporting on the railway field were more proactive compared to other railway magazines. Please see the photos for the condition. There is no sign of use overall, and I think it is quite clean. There are no writings, folds, creases, or tears on the pages.
