I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but I think it's probably Western Red Cedar. There are no accessories such as a case. I used it for about 2-3 months, so it has a moderate amount of wear and tear. I'm open to price negotiations. Taiko no Tatsujin My Bachi (drumsticks)
