At the time of purchase (from a recycle shop), they were sold as new items from an older era. They came in a box, but both the box and the contents were dusty, so I washed them before listing. Originally, it was a set of 10 rice bowls and 10 plates, but since we are using half of them at home, I am selling the remaining half. The rice bowls are marked as Arita, but the plates are not. However, since they were new in a box at the time of purchase and have the same pattern, they are definitely part of the Arita set. The box is dirty because they are from an older era, so I have disposed of it. Although they are new, they are from an older era, so some may have slight stains on the base, likely from storage. If you are concerned, you may be able to remove them with bleach, but we do not have any bleach or synthetic detergents at home, so I am listing them in their current condition. Also, although not very noticeable, some pieces may have minor color imperfections that appear to have occurred during the manufacturing process. Please check the last image.
