① A light gray and white swirled pattern bowl. ② A subdued, slightly larger bowl in a smoked black color. This is a set of two bowls, ① and ②. Both have a subdued, calming color scheme, but they look stylish. ① Light gray bowl: Diameter: approx. 20cm, Height: approx. 6cm ② Black-like bowl: Diameter: approx. 24cm, Height: approx. 8cm These are items from someone who became a pottery teacher after pursuing their hobby. Both were kept carefully in a bubble wrap bag and stored in a cupboard without being used. I'm letting them go to declutter, and I hope they find someone who will appreciate them. They can be used as Japanese tableware for side dishes and "obanzai" (Kyoto-style home cooking), or as a serving dish for sweets and desserts. In the coming season, they would be perfect for serving somen noodles or cold wheat noodles. They would also look great with fruits like bananas and oranges. You could use them as a substitute for a lunch box, arranging rice balls, side dishes, and dessert for a lovely lunch. Both have depth, so plastic wrap won't stick to the food, which may be good for those concerned about microplastics. Regarding the light gray bowl, I think it's due to the glaze, but there are rough and smooth parts inside. The black-like bowl has about 10 small dents on the outside as shown in the images (images 16 and 17), but they are not noticeable when used because of the black color, and the scratches are almost unnoticeable. There is one small bump on the inside (image 15). Please understand. (The last 5 photos were taken under the light.) Both are handmade and one-of-a-kind. They are both works by the same person. They will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped via Yu-Pack (80 size) using Yu-Yu Mercari service.
