Handmade Item A71 This is an unused tool set for a small sword mallet, used to remove the hilt (tsukamaye) of a Japanese sword. See photo 6 for an example of use. Using a separately sold mekugi-nuki (peg remover), you tap the wooden block with the mallet as shown in the photo to remove the peg. Shipping via Yu-Packet Post using recycled materials.
