This is a very old hand puppet of a Persian cat from the Showa era. Persian cats were very popular at the time. You don't see many Persian cat items nowadays. The manufacturer is unknown, but it resembles the Persian cats made by Oike and others. This one has a slightly "ugly-cute" face, like an Exotic Shorthair. It's the same face it had back then. The fur is fluffy, and although it's an old stuffed animal, it's in good condition. Originally, there was no stuffing in the face, but you can add some to make it more three-dimensional for display. I've added a little stuffing for the photos, but it will be shipped empty. Size: approximately 27cm. *The condition is good, but it is a very old stuffed animal.
