This dress was made from a disassembled, washed, and ironed Oshima Tsumugi kimono with basting stitches still attached. The kimono was unused and in very beautiful condition. It has a firm thickness and crispness. The luster is magnificent when light hits it, and it's glossy! The texture is very supple. It's an Oshima Tsumugi that you can't help but admire. Large flowers and smaller flowers at the joints of the large checkered pattern. Burgundy and orange chrysanthemum flowers, perhaps peonies? They are blooming boldly. It's a very gorgeous and beautiful pattern. The sleeves are double-layered frill sleeves for a gorgeous look. Tie the waist ribbon for an elegant look. Even without the ribbon, the gathers create shadows, making it very elegant.
