This is a five-crested, subdued crimson iro-muji (unpatterned kimono). It has a matching lining (the lining is dyed with the same fabric as the outer fabric), giving it a unified and very elegant look. It would be easy to match with various hakama (pleated skirts), such as navy, purple, ivory, or black. After wearing it for a graduation ceremony, pairing it with a fukuro obi (formal obi) will create a formal attire (Images 11-14). This is a kimono-only listing. Some of the basting threads are still attached. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but due to long-term home storage, there is some fading on the back, characteristic of silk, and a thin area of about 2cm (Image 9). Also, there appears to be a slight color unevenness on the right hip area of the back (Image 10). Please consider this item with the understanding that it is a used item.
