Coasters made from scraps of vintage Kantha quilts (also known as "Ralli quilts"). They are handmade with hand stitching. The back is patchwork. Some parts use Kurume Kasuri fabric. These are handmade items by an amateur. Please understand that the thread finishing and sewing may not be perfect, and purchase with the understanding that they are handmade items. Since they are sewn according to the Kantha quilt scraps, they are not square. They are finished by hand stitching, so I would be grateful if you could enjoy the rustic atmosphere. About Kantha Quilts: Kantha is a type of embroidery that has been passed down since ancient times, mainly in the Bengal region of eastern India. The cloth is reused, so the colors and patterns are different for each piece, and the fading and the areas that fade are also different, so no two are exactly alike. They have a beauty like a painting. Due to the characteristics of Kantha quilts, please understand that there may be fraying of embroidery and fibers, color fading, stains, and holes.
