They were sold as first shoes, not specifically as indoor shoes, so they can be used outdoors as well. The soles are made of a soft material that can be bent by hand, making them ideal for children taking their first steps. They were used at nursery school until my child outgrew them. Since they were in the under-one-year-old class, they were mostly barefoot, and these shoes were only used when going to the playroom, so I think they were used infrequently. After my child outgrew them, I washed them thoroughly and stored them at home. There are no tears, but there is a name written on them.
