Thank you for viewing. This is a silk crepe (total shibori) heko obi (a type of informal sash). It was stored in my parents' Japanese chest of drawers. It is supple and a generous size, but as you can see in the images, the crepe is flattened throughout. (The condition in the second image is spread throughout.) Also, when held up to the light, there are several very small holes. I considered discarding it, but I thought it might be okay to wear, or perhaps it could be used for some kind of remake, so I decided to list it.
