This is a green dessert cup, a work by glass artist Waho Funaki. It was purchased about 40 years ago at Bingo-ya in Wakamatsu-cho, Shinjuku-ku. A plump cup sits on a sturdy base, and the rim is outlined with a green line. The deep green of the base accentuates the pale green line of the rim. The last photo shows the pontil mark, which is created when the piece is separated during production.
